A Lone Pursuit
My intention of the original painting was an abstract representation of a Leopard’s habitat and habits thrown onto the canvas.
The background was created using a process where ribbons whip paint onto the canvas leaving energetic marks.
The colour palette plays out the role of hunting, often athletic and brutal. The forest is significant because prey is dragged into the trees by the leopard to avoid scavengers stealing it. This painting is a celebration of a magnificent creature that embodies strength and beauty yet is endangered.
There are 50 limited edition prints in different sizes, signed, numbered and mounted.
Each print is professionally mounted with an acid-free mount, backing board and certificate of authenticity.
